For those of you who don't know I am a fan of the show Stargate Atlantis. One of the actors, David Hewlett, made an indy film in 2006 and it is finally available to purchase. Everybody get yourself a copy! I got to see it the other week and I do recommend it. It's funny, it's quirky, and well worth the purchase. It's a dark comedy about a man who tries to murder his sister's fiancee and just makes an utter mess of it. It feels very much like a British comedy (a la Monty Python). I really felt like I was watching a play. It had an intimacy about it. I'm discovering that I really like indy films, they are a much more personal experience. The ordering information is below. A Dog's Breakfast is now available for downloading from either Amazon Unbox or Apple's iTunes. This is one of the first times that I'm aware of that a feature film has been exclusively premiered on the Web (except, of course you lucky few who saw one of our sneaky screenings!) before it’s been made available on DVD (which you can Pre-order from Amazon of course!).
